Child & Youth Mental Health

Growing up can bring many changes, challenges, and emotions. Children and youth may experience difficulties that affect their mood, behaviour, relationships, school, confidence, or ability to cope with everyday life. Sometimes, challenges can be difficult to express and may appear through changes in behaviour, withdrawal, anger, anxiety, or difficulties at home or school.

We provide compassionate, age-appropriate, and individualized support for children, youth, and their families. Together, we help young people better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and navigate life's challenges.

We support children and youth experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, bullying, family changes, school-related stress, self-esteem concerns, social challenges, and life transitions.

Our approach is tailored to each young person's age, developmental stage, needs, and goals. Depending on their circumstances, therapy may incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), play-based approaches, mindfulness, trauma-informed therapy, and other therapeutic strategies.

When appropriate and with consent, we may also collaborate with parents and caregivers, schools, healthcare providers, and other professionals to provide connected and consistent support.
