Art Therapy
Children do not always have the words to express what they are feeling or experiencing. Art Therapy provides a creative and developmentally appropriate way for children to explore emotions, experiences, thoughts, and relationships in a safe and supportive environment.
Through drawing, painting, creative activities, and other forms of artistic expression, children can explore feelings that may be difficult to put into words. Art can also support self-confidence, emotional awareness, coping skills, and self-expression.
Rather than focusing on interpreting artwork alone, we use creative expression as a way to connect with children and encourage them to share their experiences in their own words. Therapy is tailored to each child's individual needs, developmental stage, and comfort level.
Art Therapy may be helpful for children experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, family changes, or other challenges.
Express. Explore. Connect. Grow.
